THE AFRICAN DREAM
Talent-Spotter
PRESENTS THE AFRO PEPITES SHOW
THE THREE 2025 PEPITES
14th edition of the Selections of the African Dream!
The great discoveries identified by the committee and the web users!
The AFRO PEPITES SHOW is the 1st Trade Show for Afro Arts online (e-Trade Show)
We have widened our communication networks and “agitated” the artists on the Internet to harvest a new artistic bunch dedicated to:
- Professionals of culture willing to highlight new talents (media, managers, producers, publishers, organizers, distributors, booking agencies…)
- Internet users interested in discovering new cultural trends.
This year the Listeners’ committee has discovered 152 projects.
It has short-listed 11 projects which have made a difference thanks to their originality, their quality and/or their commitments. Then, Internet users voted to support their favourite project!
This result is the fruit of a collaborative selection: 152 participants - 5 committee members - 11 finalists - 1248 votes - 3 Pepites.
| Thank you all for your participation |
| ENJOY THE DISCOVERIES AND SPREAD THE WORD |
THE NEXT CASTING will mark the 15th edition!

● BIOGRAPHY:
Mawuli MK Trace is a multi-disciplinary artist from Togo, who skilfully combines drawing, painting, writing, slam and poetry. Born on 19 November 1988, he discovered his passion for art after taking his baccalaureate in literature in 2007 and took up slam poetry in 2012. He has made his mark on the Lomé scene, notably through the ‘Jeu dit Jeudi’ and the ‘Slamshop’, which he co-organises on a monthly basis.
In 2013, he exhibited his pencil portraits at the Maison TV5 Monde and went on to perform and win awards, winning a slam prize with Amnesty International Togo in 2014. An innovator, in 2016 he published the text ‘Sms Sos’, which was transformed into the comic strip ‘Ce Piège’ in 2017. His creations combine plastic art and slam, as in his shows ‘Tache d'encre Pot de peinture’.
Mawuli travels the region, from Cotonou to Accra, illustrating conferences and forums. In 2020, he will pay tribute to the victims of illegal immigration with the slam ‘Entre la France et l'Italie’, then in 2022 to the African Tirailleurs with his collection ‘LE MÉMORIAL DES CHÉCHIAS ROUGE’. Initiator of the ‘FONDARTMENTAL’ project in 2019 and solo exhibitions such as ‘12 peignes’ in 2021, he continues to sublimate Togolese art.
